Introduction
Ningbo is a city that has a great economy and manufacturing industry. Since Ningbo's GDP entered the trillion-dollar club in 2018, its ranking has risen from 15th to 12th in 2019, ranking seventh in terms of the growth rate. Ningbo was affected by the epidemic of the coronavirus in 2020, but its GDP still reached 548.72 billion RMB in the first half of the year, a slight decrease of 0.6% year-on-year. As Ningbo's traditional advantageous industry, the automobile component industry (key automobile parts manufacturing industry) continues to maintain good growth momentum in 2019, and is worthy of the two titles of "The Die Casting Industry Base in China" and "The Die Casting Mold Manufacturing Base in China". Auto parts companies are also leading the way in the resumption of work and production after the epidemic of coronavirus.
 
The shipping industry is developed well in Ningbo. In 2019, the cumulative cargo throughput of the Zhoushan Port in Ningbo reached 1.12 billion tons, firmly occupying the top position in the world. The container throughput reached 27.53 million TEUs, continually ranking the third in the world. Qianwan New District in Ningbo: It was established in July 2019, and Hangzhou Bay New District in Ningbo was included in the whole area, accounting for 58% of the area. After ten years development, Hangzhou Bay New District in Ningbo has become one of the most rapid economic development areas in the Yangtze River Delta. The automobile industry with 100 billion RMB, smart electrical appliances with tens of billion and high-performance new materials industries have been successfully developed. Yongtaiwen, an automobile and motorcycle parts production base with more than 10,000 manufacturing enterprises, will build a global automobile and motorcycle parts distribution center based on Ningbo's advantages in the foreign trade, port and support services in the future.
 
The Ningbo Foundry, Forging and Die Casting Industrial Exhibition has been successfully held for 11 sessions and widely recognized by the industry under the aegis of the government, active participation of relevant industry associations, and the standardized operation of professional institutions.
